Can I straighten my teeth without braces?
Today, patients have many alternatives to traditional metal braces. Dr. Waldron offers Invisalign, a clear, removable system that straightens teeth in an average of 12-18 months. Patients with slight misalignments who want instant results often choose porcelain veneers. These thin shells of porcelain cover existing teeth and allow Dr. Waldron to re-create your smile. Call today and request a consultation to learn about the options for your smile.

What are DURAthin veneers?
DURAthins are a brand of veneers that requires minimal or no tooth preparation prior to placement. Some patients prefer DURAthins because of the quick application and reduced risk for sensitivity. However, others prefer traditional veneers because of their completely customized design.

How can I whiten my teeth?
We offer several methods to remove stains, brighten your teeth, and give your smile a youthful glow. Choose from in-office teeth whitening, which takes about an hour and can brighten teeth up to 10 shades, or take-home whitening trays, which involve custom trays and a bleaching solution that lightens teeth over a period of about two weeks. These methods have proven safe and effective, even for deep-down stains; however, some types of stains simply don’t respond as well to conventional whitening methods. For these patients, Dr. Waldron may recommend cosmetic bonding or porcelain veneers. Visit us for a cosmetic consultations so we can recommend the method that’s best for your smile.

Can you help with snoring?
First, you will need to schedule an appointment. One out of eight people who snore have sleep apnea, a serious medical condition that increases risks of heart attack and stroke. Depending on the cause of snoring, Dr. Waldron may be able to prescribe a comfortable oral appliance worn at night that opens airways to alleviate snoring and certain kinds of sleep apnea.

Do you offer treatment for chronic headaches?
Chronic headaches may be a symptom of a misaligned bite, bruxism (grinding), or TMJ disorder. Our dentist will carefully examine your occlusion (bite), jaw, head, and neck to determine the underlying causes of your pain. Oftentimes, we can correct the problem with a custom nightguard. Call our office if you have more questions about headache relief with non-surgical therapies.

What alternatives do you offer to traditional dentures?
Traditional dentures can slip and click at the most inopportune times. Now, patients have an alternative to removable partials and dentures. With dental implants, Dr. Waldron can anchor the denture in the jaw bone, so your replacement teeth will function more like nature intended.
